Pursuing God. Equipping People. Reaching the World.
Vision, Beliefs & Values
Our Vision
Transformation Starts Here at Radiant Church as We are all about Growing Healthy Lives! We do this by Pursuing God, Equipping People, and Reaching the World.
Our Core Values
God (Center-point of all we do)
We are inspired to live for God when His presence is welcomed in our worship services, and the Scriptures are taught in meaningful ways that can be applied in our daily lives as we pursue Him to know Him.
Reaching People (God’s Celebrated Treasure)
All people have been made in God’s image, and heaven rejoices when we connect people to God. We will be a multi-generational church where people can find significance and healing and be activated in their purpose.
Discipleship (Vehicle for Transformation)
Our church has a three-level process that has been proven effective in transforming thousands of lives!
Identity (Anchored in who God says we are)
This is extremely important in a culture swirling with options and confusion as people in general (especially our young) need to know their biblical identity that is only found in Christ.
Healing (Getting Healthier and Stronger)
Painful seasons where we feel weak, dry, and vulnerable can become our greatest growth track of life lessons as we partner with Jesus, who came to heal, restore, and bring times of refreshment.
Empowerment (Overcoming the Odds)
Family and Kids (Fabric to Society)
We strengthen and develop those in the family of God as well as those raising their kids. Teaching kids to know God in a fun, safe, and clean atmosphere is one of our top priorities as they will become our future leaders.
Our Beliefs
We are a church that holds to a biblical worldview. So even though each new generation lives in a changing culture, we believe, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Heb. 13:8).
The Bible
- We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. This means that the Bible is completely reliable and trustworthy.
- John 1:1, Heb. 4:12, 2Tim. 3:16; Prov. 30:5; Ps. 119:11,16; Matt. 24:35; James 1:22; Is. 55:11
Trinity
-
We believe in one God displayed in Three Persons (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit).
-

Fall of Humanity
-
We believe we all have sinned and it’s our sin that separates us from God.
-
As a result, we all need salvation. Rom. 3:23; Rom. 5:12; Eph. 2:1; 1Cor. 15:22
Salvation
God, so loved us, He provided salvation as a gift that comes by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ (not by any type of religious works). Jesus alone is the bridge that justifies us of our sin and reconciles us to knowing a loving God.

Communion
-
We believe Christians should humbly and thankfully partake the elements of communion as a symbolic remembrance of Jesus’ redemptive sacrifice.
-

We believe water baptism is an outward expression of an inward commitment to Jesus Christ.
-
Matt. 28:18-20; Rom 6:1-11
The Great Commandment and Great Commission
-
We believe God’s love for us should be translated into our love back to Him and released to others. This is the Greatest Commandment in Scripture, which leads to the Great Commission of reaching and discipling as many people as possible.

Spirit-Filled Life
-
We believe after receiving Jesus, believers become sealed by the Holy Spirit and have the capacity to bear the good fruit of the Spirit in their lives.
-
Eph. 1:13; James 1:22, Gal. 5:16-25; Eph. 4:30-32, Eph. 5:18; Heb. 3:7
Baptism and Gifts of the Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit supernaturally empowers believers in their witness to share and do the works of Jesus including having an empowered prayer life.

End Times and 2nd Coming of Jesus
-
We believe the Bible provides a road map of what to expect in the end times as world events continue to accelerate and culminate with the global return of Jesus our redeemer coming back in full power and authority.
